Supporting Opportunities for Success
Program development projects have typically included a five-stage approach, made up of initial client consultation, research, program framework development, implementation, and evaluation. We have demonstrated success in a range of program fields, including employment equity, return to work, older workers, community housing, and others.
Team members have been very active in program development, especially on behalf of governments and non-government organizations. Programs have included:
- Disability Employment Services – Government of Yukon
Over a period of nine years, team members conducted preliminary research, designed a Disability Employment Services model, and developed a series of programs that have more than doubled the self-reported representation of people with disabilities within that organization.
- Diversity Office – Government of the Northwest Territories
Beginning in 2009, we developed a research model and strategic development framework for initiating a Diversity Office within this public service. The most recent data indicate a very significant increase in the self-reported representation rate of people with disabilities.
- American Sign Language Interpretation Services – Government of Yukon
On behalf of the Yukon government, we developed an innovative and community-based model for providing American Sign Language (ASL) to Deaf members of the Yukon community. Initiated in 2012, this program is seen as being of significant value to the Deaf community, and to healthcare service providers, employers, and others.
